WORLD AIDS DAY Campaign Contest

This was a submission for a contest to win the campaign of World AIDS Day. Visually I wanted to merge the pandemic with another "world issue" which is the preservation of the environment, to give it an aspect of humanity and the reality of the world we live in today. To achieve that, I simulated recycled paper textures and hand-painted, stencil typography. The main concept was universal access and 4 platforms (prevention, treatment, care and support) related to prevent or treat AIDS. The campaign consisted on 5 posters: 1 highlighting the main concept and 4 highlighting each platform with a metaphoric image to enhance the message. CRUZAN RUM

This was an awesome project to work on. The main concept was to represent Cruzan Rum as the Gift from St. Croix -where the rum is originally produced- I did some research of a lot of elements that represented the island, such as: autochtonal flora and fauna, their music, architecture, people, tradition and put them all together as an offering. Being Cruzan Rum their most important element of exportation.
